For the third year in a row, Intelinair’s AGMRI platform has been named one of the top agriculture apps of the year by CropLife magazine senior online editor Matt Hopkins. The annual list highlights the best mobile apps in agriculture. Apps are included based on research and evaluation of new or recently updated farming apps available for Android, iPhone, and iPad.
Hopkins notes, “Whether it’s an app that is using machine learning to provide customized crop advice based on past harvest data and current conditions, or one that is incorporating AI to guide farmers on sustainable practices, the number of smart apps putting the power of AI right into the user’s hand continues to grow.”
Quotes from Intelinair’s CEO were included in the article. “AI has enabled the effective use of vast amounts of agricultural data, providing mobile app users with actionable insights and the ability to identify root causes for problem-solving in-season or to plan for the next crop season,” says Tim Hassinger, President and CEO of Intelinair, which provides agronomic field insights and analytics through its flagship product AGMRI.
In addition, Hopkins shared insights on AI trends to watch in 2025. Where do AI-powered apps go from here? There are several key trends to keep a close eye on this year and beyond, according to experts. Hassinger was quoted, “One significant trend will be the shift from traditional user experiences to more voice and chat capabilities, allowing users to interact with apps in ways that align better with the way they think. Additionally, collaborations will emerge to integrate diverse data sets helping to address a broader range of user questions.”
